An 8-month-old boy has been located after officials searched for the child late Sunday night.

An Amber Alert was issued for 8-month-old Darrell Spencer from Cuyahoga County in Ohio. The child was found after midnight, according to officials.

Police say the 8-month-old was taken from his residence by his father, Darrell A. Spencer.

Spencer does have a violent criminal history including domestic violence and assault. Investigators say the father set fire to the mother’s vehicle and advised he was going to kill the whole family before leaving on foot .

Officials have not released any additional details about locating the child, including where they found him.
