Police investigate auto theft in Northside that ended in crash

CINCINNATI - Cincinnati police are investigating an auto theft that started in Northside and ended in a car accident in College Hill Monday night.

Police say two suspects stole a silver Chevrolet Malibu near the intersection of Spring Grove and Dane Avenue in Northside around 10 p.m. They drove the car to College Hill and led police on a short chase that ended in a crash at Hamilton and Belmont avenues.

The two suspects were taken to a local hospital where they are being treated for non life-threatening injuries.

No other injuries were reported.

Hamilton Avenue was closed while police cleared down powerlines from the crash.
