CINCINNATI - The Cincinnati Police Homicide Unit is investigating a homicide that occurred Friday on Colerain Avenue.
The Cincinnati Emergency Communications Center received notification at approximately 8:42 a.m. that a person had been shot. Cincinnati police and fire department workers arrived at the scene to find the body Shawn Marice Humphrey, 21, behind a building located at 4467 Colerain Avenue. Humphrey was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say Humphrey died of a gunshot wound to the head. Detectives say they have ruled out the possibility that this was a suicide.
No other information regarding the victim or the crime has been made available at this time.
