Police arrest driver after Reading chase

CINCINNATI - Police arrested a man who led them on a chase in a stolen vehicle early Tuesday morning.

Reading officials chased a vehicle marked as stolen on southbound I-75 at about 2:30 a.m. before the pursuit ended at the Hopple Street exit.

Officials found out that the vehicle was a rental car that the male driver had failed to return a month ago. Officials did not say from where the vehicle was rented.

The driver was charged with auto theft.

Authorities have not released any additional details at this time.
