Mt. Healthy police say they are investigating a possible murder-suicide.
A man named Jackson Gray, in his mid 30s, notified his mother around 7:30p.m. that he was going to shoot his wife then himself.
Police were quickly dispatched to a townhouse in the 7800 block of Clovernook Avenue in Mt. Healthy.
At the time police weren't sure if they had a hostage situation so they called the Cincinnati SWAT team to the scene to assist. SWAT made several attempts to make contact with the residents, but were met with complete silence. Finally, they were forced to make entry.
Police found Jackson Gray and his wife upstairs in the residence, both dead from gunshot wounds.
Nobody else was inside the home at the time of the shootings. Police say they were called to the home back in March for a domestic violence situation.
The incident is still under investigation.
