CINCINNATI - Police are searching for two shooting suspects after a man was shot and killed in Over-the-Rhine Thursday afternoon.

The incident happened around 4 p.m. in the 1600 block of Race Street.

Police believe the victim and the two suspects were in an altercation in their cars when the shooting happened.

A Cincinnati police captain was driving on Race Street shortly after shots were fired. The officer found Robert Walker, 18, in his car. He was taken to University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police say having an officer on the scene so quickly will help them solve this crime.

"There are all kinds of advantages, you don't have your crime scene corrupted because it's taken control of immediately," said Cincinnati police Sgt. Mike Miller.

Early Friday morning police found the suspects' vehicle that they say was involved in the crime. It's a dark blue newer model Volvo four-door sedan with no front license plate and dark tinted windows. Police are looking for two suspects who they consider to be armed and dangerous.

If you have any information regarding this shooting call Crime Stoppers at (513) 352-3040.
