CINCINNATI - Three people were stabbed during an altercation in Springfield Township Tuesday evening.

The incident happened in the 2000 block of Bluehill Road around 4:30 p.m. Officer responded to a report of a fight with gunshots fired and a vehicle leaving the scene with a victim inside of it.

Police say a nearby officer spotted the vehicle on Hamilton Avenue and conducted a traffic stop. The officer reported three men were inside the vehicle with stab wounds.

Two of the victims were transported to local hospitals for treatment of unknown injuries. The third victim refused transportation, according to police.

Police say the suspect, 23-year-old Shawn Matthews, is described as a black male in his mid to late 20's with hair in dreadlocks and was last seen wearing a red hoodie and black jacket.
