Police: Parents took kids to drug deal

CINCINNATI - The parents who allegedly took their two children to a drug deal were arraigned Tuesday morning.

Colerain police say Brian and Melissa Bowers of Independence, Ky. took their 1-year-old and 5-year-old to a drug deal Monday in the 2500 block of Galbraith Road.

The kids remained in the car while the two allegedly made the deal. Colerain police working undercover arrested the parents. The two are charged with drug possession and child endangerng.

Melissa Bowers was issued a $4,000 bond and Brian Bowers was issued a $3,000 in court Tuesday.
