PLAN Cincinnati details to be released

A new study on Cincinnati boasted the power of tourism for the local economy and community. The report is the first of its kind in a decade. But what is it about Cincinnati that makes it so attractive to visit?

CINCINNATI - PLAN Cincinnati is the final result of a three-year study involving a cross-section of community residents and leaders that promotes growth and development in the city.

The city will release the final details Thursday at 6 p.m. at City Hall.

The goal is to make the city a more liveable and sustainable place. Among the areas it covers, is transportation, affordable housing and economic competitiveness.

Plan Cincinnati's five key initiatives are:

  • Compete: Be the pivotal economic force of the region.
  • Connect: Bring people and places together.
  • Live: Strengthen our magnetic city with energized people.
  • Sustain: Steward resources and ensure long-term viability.
  • Collaborate: Partner to reach our common goals.
