Officer crashes responding to an accident

COVINGTON, Ky. - A Covington police officer was involved in an accident while responding to a separate incident around 5 p.m. Sunday.

The police cruiser and another vehicle crashed at the intersection of Winston Avenue and E. 43rd Street in Covington. Officials say no one was injured in the accident.

Authorities say the police officer was headed to the scene of a single-motorcycle accident on 3035 Kentucky Ave near Madison Avenue.

There were minor injuries reported in the motorcycle accident.
