CINCINNATI - Hopes are high that a new center won't just help people make ends meet, it will change lives.
Close to 500 people, including several city leaders were on hand for Wednesday's "CityLink Center" groundbreaking.
The 80,000-square foot facility on Bank Street in the West End will be a one-stop shop for those people looking for resources to finish school, get a job, or buy a house.
CityLink board member, Mark Stecher said the center is at aimed at the working poor.
"It's for people who need different skills, different resources, different networks in order to get out of the situation that they're in."
Construction is expected to be complete around next summer.
