CINCINNATI - Forbes has released a list of the most affordable cities in the US to live in.

The list is based on salary amounts for college graduates, unemployment rates, cost-of-living and home prices.

The most affordable city in the U.S. is Omaha, Neb. with the fifth lowest cost-of-living in the country, ninth-lowest home prices and the lowest unemployment rate.

Rounding out the top five on the list is Buffalo, N.Y., Detroit, Mich., Indianapolis, Ind. and Cincinnati.

Greater Cincinnati comes in at fifth most affordable with the fourth lowest home prices in the nation, the sixth lowest cost-of-living and the 25th best salary prices in the nation for college graduates.

Other cities of note are Cleveland as the 8th most affordable and Toledo at the 12th most affordable.
