NEW RICHMOND, Ohio - A child received a head injury during a sledding accident and was being transported by medical helicopter to Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center late Sunday morning, according to authorities.
The incident occurred on Greenmound Road in New Richmond around 11:30 a.m. The child was sledding down a hill in a nearby cemetery when he struck a headstone and injured himself, according to authorities.
The child was conscious at time of transport, dispatchers said.
