CINCINNATI - A Georgia man is set to appear in Hamilton County Municipal Court for running a scheme to use UPC Codes and fake identification to purchase items for cheaper prices and then return those items for a full price refund, according to court documents.
On Friday, a search warrant was issued for the LivInn Hotel room in Sharonville of James C. Chamberlain, of Sugar Hill, Ga. Detectives found materials used to produce fraudulent identification cards in Chamberlain’s room, according to reports. Heroin was also found in the room.
Chamberlain was set to appear at a 9 a.m. arraignment hearing Saturday for charges to conduct a transaction with the purpose to promote, manage, establish, carry on, or facilitate the promotion, management, establishment, or carrying of corrupt activity, a felony in the third degree.
