Man arrested, charged for stabbing wife

MT. ORAB, Ohio - Police arrested and charged a Mt. Orab man for stabbing his wife twice in the chest.

On Sept. 11 police responded to a report of domestic violence at a residence in the 1700 block of Maple Grove Road in Mt. Orab around 4:30 p.m.

When officers arrived they discovered Holly High, 57, suffered two knife wounds to the chest. She was transported to Southwest Regional Hospital where she was treated and released.

Police say the suspect, Steven High, 58, was not present at the home when they arrived. They arrested High once he returned and charged him domestic violence and felonious assault.

High is being held at the Brown County Adult Detention Center on a $100,000 bond.
