CINCINNATI - A local high school is calling for the help of Ellen DeGeneres through a YouTube video that has garnered more than 3,500 likes.

Lakota East High School made a video asking Ellen for help raising money for the Spina Bifida Center at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.

“Where I come from we are crazy, crazy to make a difference,” one student said in the video.

The student’s plan is to make a music video "lip dubbing" with hundreds of people in support of raising money and awareness of Spina Bifida. And they want Ellen to star in it.

“Ellen we love you so much and would be honored if you came to support our school,” another student said.
