CINCINNATI - This year's festival is projected to bring forty five thousand people downtown over the course of the weekend.
"It has a huge impact economically to the small businesses, the hotels, pretty much everything downtown, in Northern Kentucky all the way up to Montgomery is thriving because of this weekend," said Frances Santangelo spokeswoman for the Macy's Music Festival.
With the Reds in the playoff hunt downtown is experiencing a significant winning streak itself says Downtown Cincinnati Inc.'s Dave Ginsberg.
"We've just been doing better and better with these festivals every year and it's a huge weekend with the Reds winning and the Braves in town," said Ginsberg.
Organizers of the Macy's Music Festival at Paul Brown stadium are excited to showcase the long line-up of performers this weekend.
"This is a family event. It's something people have been coming to for years. We get seventy five percent of our business from out of town. So these guests have been coming to Cincinnati year after year for decades," said Santangelo.
