CINCINNATI - The retail complex you’ve seen towering over I-71 sold in an auction Thursday.

Bank of America bought Kenwood Towne Place for $27.5 million at the Hamilton County Sheriff’s auction.

The building’s unfinished office tower is partly occupied with tenants Mitchell’s Salon & Day Spa, Crate & Barrel, L.A. Fitness and the Container Store.

Phillips Edison, the national owner and operator of Blue Ash shopping centers, was the only other bidder for the Kenwood retail center.

A Bank of America spokesperson tells 9 News the future of the complex has not been decided.
