CINCINNATI - Cincinnati police have announced that several joint investigations have resulted in the indictment of 12 gang members and affiliates from the Madisonville neighborhood.
Police say they have been investigating the “Madville” gang and its sets – “The Tracks”, “Bramble Boyz”, and “The Third” -- for more than a year.
People who were indicted on various charges are Michael Willis, Angelo Turner, Jeremy Evans, Antwan Allen, Jonathon England, Landon Sutton and Bruce Linson.
Also indicted were Gary Hedges, Eddie Bryant, Dwayne Banks, Jonathon Lawson, Lawrence Lindsey and Ray Isham.
The charges vary from trafficking in drugs and possessing a weapon under disability to carrying a concealed weapon and tampering with evidence.
Other agencies involved in the probe are the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives and the Ohio Adult Parole Authority.
Since the investigation began, 45 arrests have been made. Also, more than 338 grams of cocaine, 453 grams of crack, 83 grams of heroin and 16,170 grams of marijuana were confiscated during the course of the probe.
