CINCINNATI - Restaurant connoisseur Jeff Ruby should be celebrating Friday after the release of the 2013 America’s Top Restaurant Survey by Zagat.

Jeff Ruby’s Cincinnati and Jeff Ruby’s Precinct garnered a higher overall rating than every steakhouse in New York, Chicago, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

His famous restaurants also nabbed second place for the highest overall Zagat rating in Cincinnati, ranked behind Orchids which earned the top spot.

Jeff Ruby’s Precinct was named Cincinnati’s most popular restaurant.

“I am pleased that our guests were pleased with the improvements we made,” said Jeff Ruby, according a press release. “I want to also congratulate Chef Todd Kelly and his colleagues from Orchid’s for receiving the overall No. 1 Zagat Cincinnati rating.”
