CINCINNATI - She's no longer a mystery witness, but just who is Jennifer Crew?

We've searched court records and social media sites, culling past addresses and calling former neighbors.

Crew pops up on our radar screen in 1992, at age 18. Police in Iowa arrested her on three counts of burglary and aiding and abetting. Those charges were dismissed.

The next year began a string of six arrests through 2007 that would result in convictions in four Iowa jurisdictions. The charges included thefts, a probation violation, fraud, contempt, and driving while barred by the state.

Crew spent some time in a "violator" treatment program at the Oakdale Prison from August through October of 1999. Once out, she violated her probation and went back to Oakdale in December. From there she was transferred to the medium security Iowa Correctional Institution for Women, in Mitchellville. She was released in March 2000.

She subsequently was arrested three more times. All those arrests led to jail or fines.

She has been working as a manager for at least one gentleman's club in recent years.

We found no ties between her and Ryan Widmer before he was featured on national television as a result of his wife's death case.
