CINCINNATI -

St. Vincent de Paul is a non-profit organization that has been devoted to helping families in the Greater Cincinnati area for over 140 years. To add to a long list of the many great things they have done for Cincinnati, SVDP is having a fan drive now through August 13. The drive is to benefit families who cannot afford or are unable to get air conditioning inside their homes. St. Vincent de Paul has set a goal to collect 800 fans and 150 air conditioners. WCPO-TV Channel 9, Stor-All, Huntington Bank, and Tedia Company are sponsoring this event.

Here are some ways you can help St. Vincent de Paul reach its goals.

• Stop in at your Greater Cincinnati Huntington Bank from now through August 13 and make a financial donation. A gift of $90 will provide 1 air conditioner for a family and $10 will provide 1 fan. Any donation is appreciated.

• Bring a fan to: St. Vincent de Paul local outreach center, a SVDP Thrift Store, Tedia Company, Stor-All Self Storage or Coney Island. Go to www.SVDPcincinnati.org for a complete list of all the locations.

• You can make a donation on St. Vincent de Paul’s website, www.SVDPcincinnati.org.

• Anyone who donates a NEW fan at Coney Island, between now and August 13th, will receive a FREE all day rides pass, valued at $11.95.
All fans and air conditioners will be distributed to people in need.
