MONROE, Ohio - SR-63 has reopened after a tanker overturned with concerns that a corrosive liquid might be spilled at the intersection of SR-63 and Yankee Road in Monroe.
Authorities say the liquid inside the tanker was nickel nitrate, used in fertilizer. But after inspection it showed no signs of leaking.
The trailer was connected back to the truck and emergency crews cleared the scene around 5 p.m.
The accident happened around 1:50 p.m. Friday afternoon. Multiple fire departments responded to the scene at 2:30 p.m.
There are no injuries being reported at this time.
All of SR-63 is reopen to traffic at this time after being shutdown for nearly three hours.
Monroe, West Chester and Liberty Township fire departments responded to the scene.
