CINCINNATI - A Golf Manor mother charged with child endangering Wednesday morning was released on her own recognizance after officials found her son wandering in the middle of the road wearing a t-shirt and a diaper.

Police charged 33-year-old Crystal Adams with child endangering after they found her son walking in the middle of the road in the 6100 block of Wiehe Road — four blocks from her home. The child was only wearing a t-shirt, diaper and one sock, according to police.

Adams called police to report the missing child about 30 minutes after authorities located the boy. The child, whose age has not yet been released, was not injured.

Adams is being held in the Hamilton County Justice Center and is scheduled to appear in court at 9 a.m. Wednesday.
