GEORGETOWN, Ohio - The owner of a small IGA said he will close the store sometime in the middle of March.

Owner Steve Goessling said his Georgetown store has seen a 30 percent decline in business since 2010.

The 38 employees were given notice that their job would be gone at the store, but they were offered positions at three other stories, one in Gallatin County, another in Reading, Ohio, and a third in Clifton.

The owner attributes the loss of traffic because nearby stores, such as the Fashion Bug and Sears hardware store shut down.
