Free tax preparation for Earned Income Tax Credit recipients

CINCINNATI - The Cincinnati-Hamilton County Community Action Agency is offering free tax preparation services to individuals who qualify for Earned Income Tax Credit.
The non-profit organization says its goal is to help low-income workers save more of their 2012 tax returns without having to pay for high fees charged by commercial tax preparers. The CAA says by helping families keep their full tax refund, the money will go back to the local economy.
The assistance will be offered from Jan. 28 - April 15.
Office hours are Monday- Friday 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday walk-in appointments from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and scheduled appointments on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 a.m.
