CINCINNATI - A former employee of St. Rita School for the Deaf pleaded guilty to charges that he had sexual contact with a student.

Joshua Bort, 24, appeared in court Monday morning where he pleaded guilty to one felony and three misdemeanor counts of sexual imposition after he was charged with sexually abusing a teenager in July. At the time of the alleged abuse, Bort was resident advisor for the school.

The student, who was 17 at the time of the alleged abuse, said Bort gave him marijuana and alcohol and then began touching him. Drug and alcohol charges were not listed in the indictment against Bort.

Bort is scheduled to be sentenced on Oct. 23 at 10 a.m.
