Florence man killed in motorcycle accident over weekend, dies at hospital

FLORENCE, Ky. - One man was killed over the weekend after a fatal crash on one of Northern Kentucky’s roadways.

Christopher Haddox, 48, of Florence, Ky., lost control of his motorcycle around a curve in the 10000 block of Big Bone Road or Kentucky 1925 at approximately 4 p.m. on Sunday, according to the Boone County Sheriff’s Office.

Haddox slid off the road, striking a utility pole and then a fence post, according to the sheriff’s office. He was taken to Saint Elizabeth Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The crash remains under investigation.
