CINCINNATI - A one-alarm structure fire occurred at a gourmet meat shop in the Camp Washington neighborhood Saturday afternoon.

The Cincinnati Emergency Communication Center received a 911 call at 4:30 p.m. reporting smoke was coming from a warehouse at Cincinnati Gourmet Meats, which is located at the intersection of Sidney Avenue and Township Street.

Initial arriving fire units reported heavy smoke coming from the structure. Fire crews forced entry into the structure and made an "aggressive interior attack in a fire that was buried deep in the building," fire officials said.

The fire was brought under control in 30 minutes. Additional companies were called to assist with the ventilation of the building and remained on the scene to aid the fire investigator.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

There were no reported injuries to civilians or firefighter but damage to the property is estimated at $150,000.
