CINCINNATI - There are several animals in need of homes at the Brown County Animal Shelter, but one canine is running short on time.

The shelter has one dog left on its urgent list, a 5-year-old male beagle named Neo, who will be put down if not adopted by Friday, Jan. 25.

Another dog was also placed on the list, but was adopted late Thursday afternoon.

The shelter says it doesn't have any information on Neo's background other than he was a stray.
