Crystal Faulkner discusses tax deductions

CINCINNATI - Many in the Tri-State will be working on their taxes this weekend. But, as you look for deductions, expert Crystal Faulkner says many of us overlook what we gave to charity last year.

"One of the biggest deductions people miss are charitable contributions, because they go through your credit card or they might be just dollars you spend for volunteer work at school. You can deduct those expenses including mileage," says Faulkner.

She also says giving money to charity and forgetting to claim it is one of several deductions that many taxpayers miss.
