CINCINNATI - Cincinnati police say crime is down all over the Price Hill neighborhood.

The most dramatic decrease is in robberies and thefts from autos, which are down 37 percent and 34 percent respectively.

Police says it's the people that live in Price Hill that should get most of the credit.

"The primary driving force behind the reduction is the dedication of those who reside in Price Hill, through their refusal to allow a small percentage of the community to negatively impact their quality of life," said Captain Russ Neville, District Three Commander.

Police say Price Hill has the most volunteers in the city, who participate in Citizens on Patrol and Block Watch programs.

Burglary and felonious assault saw the smallest declines. Those crimes are down 9 percent and 2 percent respectively.
