Corey Nida case: N.Ky. man to be sentenced for allegedly molesting 11-year-old girl

BURLINGTON, Ky. - A Northern Kentucky man is scheduled to be sentenced Wednesday morning for charges that he sexually molested an 11-year-old girl a year ago.
Corey Nida, 25, was arrested by Boone County sheriff's deputies at his home near Florence in February 2012 after he allegedly molested the 11-year-old over the six months prior.
Nida is charged with rape, sexual abuse and sodomy.
Sexual abuse is punishable by 5-10 years in prison. Rape and sodomy are each punishable by 20-50 years in prison.
Nida is scheduled to appear in a Boone County courtroom.
