CINCINNATI - The news about downtown Cincinnati is good. Very good.

In the past few days, two major news outlets from outside the Queen City's confines have praised the city's work.

The Cleveland Plain Dealer wrote a story which states, "The city is experiencing a renaissance, with private development revitalizing once ignored areas - most notably Over-the-Rhine... that has become a gathering spot for the young and trendy."  The author, Susan Glaser, says in the article that she is "amazed" by the transformation the city is making.

And if you want more proof, go to the esteemed New York Times , in which there is an article about the investment in the city's shoreline and how it is paying off.  It talks about how the city's "decades of decay are giving way to a new era of dynamism".

Both articles come on the heels of a story about Cincinnati's rise on WCPO.com and WCPO-TV in May.  Click here or go to www.wcpo.com/dpp/news/local_news/From-ghost-town-to-night-on-the-town-Downtown-Cincinnatis-revitalization to view that story and watch the video about how far Cincinnati has come.
