HAMILTON, Ohio - Police have identified the body of a 57-year-old woman found floating in the Great Miami River just south of the low-level dam in Hamilton, Ohio, Monday afternoon.
On Tuesday, Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones said the victim is Shelby Ryczek of Gordon-Smith Boulevard in Hamilton.
Authorities do not suspect foul play in Ryczek's death.
A vehicle believed to have been driven by her was located in a parking area adjacent to the low level dam, according to police.
Ryczek was located Monday in the river along Neilan Boulevard near Miami University's Hamilton campus and Triangle Park.
Butler County Sheriff Richard Jones says she was discovered by people walking along a bike path that parallels the river around 4 p.m.
Hamilton police and fire departments responded to the scene and pulled her out of the water.
The Butler County Coroner was called to assist in the investigation. The coroner's office will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
Police say there was no sign of any physical trauma to the body. Authorities do not suspect foul play.
