CINCINNATI - The National Conference of Black Mayors, scheduled to start in Cincinnati Wednesday, has been canceled.

Organizers of the conference said there weren't enough registrations for a successful conference.

The conference was supposed to happen in May but was postponed because many of the mayors couldn't afford to attend due to budget constraints in their cities.

The conference was scheduled to take place through Sept. 11.
