Art for All project decorates Tri-State with art

CINCINNATI - There is a unique, local project that is helping Cincinnati sample the arts while taking in local flair.

Beautiful paintings have been popping up all over the place, as part of a city-wide project called Art for All.

"Art for All is a public art project organized by the Taft Museum of Art to recognize the 80th anniversary of the museum,” said Tricia Suit of the Taft Museum of Art.

As part of the museum’s celebration, 80 paintings are on display throughout the Tri-State. Some of the paintings, as well as their locations, are truly hidden gems.

"We really wanted to try to put them everywhere that our visitors and members live,” said Suit.

Finding some of the art may require just a little bit more work. Not all of them are out in the open.

“You sorta have to wander off and maybe come upon them which makes it really fun,” said Suit.

And if you have concerns about the reproductions standing up to Mother Nature, Suit says not to worry because they’re waterproof and UV protected.

“It's a UV resistant ink on dibond, which is a heavy-duty aluminum."
