ANDERSON TWP., Ohio - Two 16-year-old boys from Anderson Township admitted to abducting an 8-year-old boy in juvenile court on Monday.

Police say the teens walked past the Ayer Elementary playground in July and lured the boy with the promise of candy, but other children stopped the teens from leaving with the child.

The teens are being held at the Youth Center until they're sentenced on Aug. 23.

They face being held in custody until they turn 21.
