CINCINNATI - Cincinnati police have arrested a man in connection with a deadly home invasion in Bond Hill that occurred in August 2011.

Police arrested Daryrel Scott, 20, Thursday for the murder of Carey S. Barnes Jr.

Barnes, 27, was shot in the 7000 block of Glenmeadow Lane at about 7:15 p.m. on Aug. 21, 2011. Barnes was taken to University Hospital on Clifton, where he later died.

At the time, Cincinnati police said two black males shot Barnes during what appeared to be a home invasion robbery.

Scott will be charged with murder for the death of Barnes, police said. No further details have been released at this time, including about the status of a second possible suspect.
