BOND HILL - Cincinnati police have arrested a man in connection with a homicide that occurred 11 months ago.

Police arrested Lamar Cofer, 24, on Tuesday with the help of an FBI task force.

Cofer is facing a murder charge for the Jan. 18 death of Bomani Fischer. Fischer, who was 17, was shot in the parking lot of the Quick Stop Market in the 4800 block of Reading Road in Bond Hill.

Fischer was taken to University Hospital, where he died a short time later from his injuries.

Police haven’t released any more details about the investigation.

In 2010, Cofer was arrested for allegedly beating his 78-year-old great uncle with a DVD player that he was trying to steal from the man's house. At the time, Cofer had 12 open warrants.
