COLERAIN TWP, Ohio - A woman was arrested on theft and assault charges after she allegedly threw hot chili on a Colerain Township store employee Monday.

Police say 31-year-old Marissa Robinson of Pleasant Run selected chili from the soup bar at the Kroger store located in the 6000 block of Colerain Avenue and started eating it while walking through the store. When a store employee confronted her about eating the chili, Robinson allegedly became angry.

Cops say she threw the chili on the employee and "began to swing" at the employee.  Robinson was taken to the Hamilton County Justice Center on both misdemeanors.

It is not clear if the employee was injured.

Robinson was arraigned Tuesday morning and will return to court later this month.

Officials have not released any additional details about the incident at this time.
