A new report is showing just how dangerous the roads can be for those who ride motorcycles.

No progress has been made in decreasing the number of motorcycle deaths in the US in the last year,  according to the Governors Highway Safety Association report. I n the last year, 4,500 motorcycle deaths were reported.

The report attributes part of that on more people buying motorcycles as the economy improves and gas prices continue to rise. O ther contributing factors to the number of deaths include: fewer states with helmet laws, alcohol use and speeding.
