CINCINNATI - A Mason resident will be a contestant on Tuesday night’s episode of “Let’s Ask America.”

Jay Geier will appear on the new quiz show that airs at 7:30 p.m. on Channel 9.

Geier, 55, taped the episode a couple of months ago and said he is anxious to see how the final product looks on TV. His episode features contestants who have interesting or unusual homes.

“Let’s Ask America” has contestants play from their homes via a Skype video link, and interact with a host in a TV studio.

“I have a slide in my basement for my kids, so I slide down it when they introduce me,” Geier said.

Although Geier enjoyed the experience, it wasn’t quite what he had expected.

“It was exciting, it was fun but it’s different than you might expect from watching it,” he said. “You wear a headset and there are multiple people talking to you. It can be a little confusing.”

Find out how Geier fares on Tuesday’s episode of “Let’s Ask America” on WCPO-TV.
