MORGAN TOWNSHIP, Ohio - A Morgan Township man was found dead in his driveway early Thursday morning.

Deputies from the Butler County Sheriff’s Office and medical personnel responded to a call from a house in the 6000 block of Wayne Lane at about 6:40 a.m.

A family member had found Rob Ahrens, 47, lying unresponsive on the ground near his vehicle, which had become stuck off the side of his driveway, the Sheriff’s Office said.

Ahrens was pronounced dead at the scene. There were no signs of trauma and it’s believed he may have suffered a medical issue.

The Butler County Coroner’s Office will be conducting an autopsy to determine a cause of death.  The incident remains under investigation by the Sheriff’s and Coroner’s offices.
