Local woman wins more than $50K in lottery game

CINCINNATI - A Hamilton County resident has won big after betting $1 in the Ohio Lottery.
Ethel Martin won after playing the Ohio Lottery’s Pick 5 game. She won $50,417 for betting $1 straight and boxed on 1-5-9-2-3 in the Jan. 16 evening draw.
After mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 29 percent are withheld, Martin will receive a check for $35,796.
