CINCINNATI - A premium steakhouse will be among the restaurants located within Cincinnati’s new casino when it opens next spring.

Officials at Horseshoe Casino Cincinnati announced Thursday that Jack Binion’s Steak will be one of the casino’s four eateries. It joins Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville, which was announced in August.

Two remaining restaurants will be announced in the coming months.

The steakhouse is named for Jack Binion, the founder of the original Horseshoe Casino in Las Vegas. Similar steakhouses operate at five other casinos.

With seating for more than 200, Jack Binion’s Steak will offer a dining room with views of the Cincinnati skyline. Also, the restaurant will also include a state-of-the-art private dining room equipped with full audio-visual capabilities that will be available for rental for meetings and events.

Offerings at the steakhouse will include traditional beef cuts, dry-aged prime rib, American Wagyu beef, lamb and veal. Seafood and poultry will round out the entrée offerings, and a potato cart will offer guests tableside preparation of made-to-order side dishes.

Additionally, casino officials announced they are seeking culinary professionals including accomplished chefs, sous chefs and restaurant managers to operate the property’s in-house dining and banquet venues.

Cincinnati’s casino is being built by Rock Gaming and Caesars Entertainment Corp. The $400 million casino will include three outward facing restaurants to engage pedestrians and support existing businesses, cultural, nightlife and sports attractions downtown.

Horseshoe Casino Cincinnati is expected to attract about six million visitors annually. It will employ nearly 1,700 people and feature about 2,000 slot machines, 85 table games and a World Series of Poker room.
