COVINGTON, Ky. - 9 On Your Side’s Clyde Gray looks at the growing problem of homeless teenagers in Northern Kentucky, and talks with some people at the Brighton Center who try to help them turn their lives around.

On any given night, there is an estimated 3,000 to 4,000 homeless teens in the eight-county Northern Kentucky region.

The number is 36 percent higher than last year, a sign that families are collapsing under the strains from the troubled economy, experts said.
