FAIRFIELD, Ohio - A fifth suspect in the murder of Julian Slaven turned himself in to Fairfield police Thursday afternoon.
Anthony Dean Givens was wanted for the murder of Julian Slaven. Fairfield police say Givens also goes by "Anthony Jones" and has a street name of "June June."
Givens, 21, turned himself in at about 3 p.m. with his attorney by his side, police said.
He will be booked on the charge of aggravated murder and held at the Butler County Jail. His initial arraignment in court will be 9 a.m. Dec. 4.
Fairfield police spokesman Doug Day had said Givens was known to frequent Hamilton and Middletown.
"The Middletown police department is familiar with this individual so they have several leads as to places he might stay. They took us to all of those places but unfortunately none of it panned out," said Day.
Slaven, 19, was shot and killed Saturday night when two men burst into his house on Judy Drive. Four other suspects already were arrested in the case.
Day says there was no forced entry into Slaven's home on Judy Drive.
"I'm not sure if it was a set up or what but they ended up killing Julian Slaven," Day said.
9 News and WCPO.com will have more details as they become available.
