CINCINNATI - The bus driver who struck a 9 News van during a live news conference appeared in court Tuesday to fight her citation , but her hearing was moved to March 12.
Joann Searles was the driver of the bus that clipped the van during live coverage of a news conference on the Horseshoe Casino collapse on Jan. 27, just outside the construction site of the new casino.
Police cited Searles, saying she improperly changed course when she tried to pull into the Greyhound station, where the conference was being held.
She was suspended by her employer, GoBus, without pay.
No one was injured in the incident, and only minor damage was done to the van.
