CINCINNATI - Bobby Flay's motto is "good habits make good food," and that's exactly what's going on at Bobby's Burger Palace at the Horseshoe Casino Cincinnati.
This is Flay's first restaurant in Cincinnati and the first that he can't drive to.
The restaurant inside Horseshoe Casino is his 14th Bobby's Burger Palace. Flay says the reason for a burger joint is because, unlike his other restaurants, it's affordable and when he's hungry, he loves a burger.
Bobby's Burger Palace features 10 signature burgers all under $7.75. All of his burgers can be "crunchified," which adds potato chips to the burger.
Tanya O'Rourke was the only media outlet inside the kitchen with Flay. He shared his secrets for making a mouth-watering burger:
While this is his first restaurant here, it may not be his last.
"Once we open a restaurant, the opportunity to do other things there is obviously a lot easier. I have to come here anyway, so why not open another restaurant. It's definitely a possibility," said Flay.
While 9 On Your Side was in the kitchen, Flay was delivered a tub of Graeter's black raspberry chip ice cream, which is his favorite. His "shake-master" tried a shake made with the raspberry chip, which is something he is considering adding it to his shake menu.
